'Seven ages', 2006.

A group of seven sculptures for Southmead, Bristol.

The sculpture, constructed out of steel, with pieces representing each of the seven ages of man and woman was made with more than 20 local young people for their neighbourhood and community.

The sculpture is intended to provide a witty interpretation of each stage of life as well as a new landmark.

The young people working on the sculpture also made impressions of faces, hands and feet, which have been cast in bronze and incorporated into the overall design.
