"Documenting the Imagination"

Kingstone Comprehensive School Barnsley

Peter Griffiths was Lead Artist working with emerging artists Robin Close, Georgina Hope and Y9 students at Kingstone School. They produced a video based installation on three simultaneous screens which was seen by around 600 pupils at the school. Images taken of their school were used to create an impression of a place that could have been somewhere else. The work looked at how the imagination can be used to change how we see familiar places.
