'Box Rooms' series of prints

The 'Box Rooms', are photographs of small models of spaces or rooms. They have openings to other areas that give the images structure and imply that they have meaning or a function. The drawings encourage us to question the reality of the space and to work out whether they are part of the room or whether they float in front of them. The images are developed as visual compositions looking at how the colour of the light source and the material can be combined in the photographic image before the final drawn marks are added.
