"Recording Space"

The exhibition included three different sets of images all of which looked at enclosed spaces. Some of the subjects were naturally occurring while others used small models of spaces made specifically to be photographed. All of the images included drawn marks that responded to the photographic images in someway.

In addition to the printed works a large vinyl installation was also commissioned specifically for the exhibition. This work incorporated many of the drawing marks used in the photographs and used the glass surfaces of the window to add the marks to the view that gallery users had of the courtyard or the stair well at the gallery.

The exhibition at mac was part funded by Arts Council England (Yorkshire)
